In-depth geological investigations

We are experts in conducting complete geological investigations, including:

Water supply lines: design of pipelines for efficient transport of water from sources to distribution centres.
Drinking water distribution networks: design of urban and extra-urban networks for delivery to end users.

Geoelectrical surveys: used for deep soil characterisation, identifying anomalies and buried structures.
Ground-penetrating radar (GPR): ideal for investigating underground utilities (water and gas lines), archaeological research and studying buried structures.

Advanced structural monitoring

We carry out precise and reliable structural monitoring through installation and reading of dedicated instruments:

Inclinometer casings:

to measure horizontal ground movements (vertical probes) and settlement of foundations and embankments (horizontal probes). Available in various diameters (38 mm to 120 mm) and lengths up to 250 metres.

Crack gauges:

mechanical, wire or electrical, to quantify relative movements between two points anchored on either side of fractures, joints or structural discontinuities.

Settlement gauges:

magnetic, differential DSM, profiler and incremental or borehole types, used to determine settlement in compressible soils and detect vertical movements in embankments and earth dams.

Extensometers:

installed to monitor longitudinal and transverse deformations in railway and road embankments, earth dams and landslide movements. Available as single-point or multi-base systems to monitor elevation changes between surface and depth.

Hydrogeology: Groundwater resource management

We provide hydrogeology services for optimal groundwater resource management:

Study of water tables: detailed analyses to understand groundwater behaviour
Design of boreholes and wells: for water supply and geothermal applications.
Hydrogeological activities and support for well concessions: technical and documentation support to obtain required authorisations for construction and management of wells.

Spring studies: assessment and management of natural water resources.
Design of drainage systems and wellpoint systems: effective solutions for groundwater control in construction areas or where moisture issues are present.
